This is the part where I confess I've never actually seen Les Miserables. (Nor is it remotely on my list.)

This is the part where we move on to the important stuff. ;)

Back in December I started developing an excruciating burning pain in my right arm. I thought maybe it was just my tendonitis flaring in an odd way or muscles being tired due to the holiday push, so I ignored it until it got so bad that I was barely able to lift my arm. The doctor I was sent to at first diagnosed it as tendonitis, which completely ignored my telling him repeatedly that this didn't hurt like anything I'd ever felt before, and the pain seemed to be radiating from my shoulder. I spent my winter holiday dealing with an arm brace that was so poorly fitted I gave up and ripped it off one night after waking up sobbing because it was cutting circulation to my thumb off. The pain faded, I thought maybe the rest had just help, went back on full duty at work. Within less than a week the aching had started again. This time the doctor finally said it was probably something in my shoulder, but he didn't think it was a tear since I still had some strength. 4-5 months of therapy and 2 cortisone shots later with no improvement, L&I scheduled an appointment for me next week in Seattle. I'm hoping this is finally for an MRI, 'cause I'm getting quite tired of having no idea what's going on with my shoulder. (The pain is bouncing between intermittent, and occasionally settling in for several days if I do anything "strenuous". . .strenuous in this case can mean even flipping through the clothes rack at Goodwill.)

That being out of the way, I've been trying to focus on projects that don't require my arm to be as top form. A lot of my costume stuff has lagged; thankfully my boyfriend has picked it up and has been working on a lot of stuff for me. (Though I am still waiting for the Merida dress that was supposed to be finished in February to get sewn lol.)

First up on the project list was getting some of the groundwork done for the business I'd like to open. I've gotten all the pics of the current stuff I'm selling up, though I'm still going through and updating prices. The boyfriend is going to talk to some artists he knows about the logo since I can't draw at all, and he can't draw what it is we want. Right now the money I make from selling stuff is going to the purchase of a drivable car. Mine died last year, and since the boyfriend is likely to have work again in a couple of months it's become even more imperative that we not have to rely on just one (ie - his) car. I've already made roughly $270 more from selling stuff, so a HUGE thanks to everybody who has bought things. I'm hoping I'll be able to increase the handmade nerd crafts within the next month or so once money settles down.

To signal boost and buy stuff, here's my Facebook page for my shop (I do not sell on etsy at the moment as most of my stuff is consignment type things right now): Boneyard Scraps

My second project is a far longer term dream that myself, a friend, and my boyfriend have. (And I fully admit it is largely me driving said dream. lmao) For as long as I can remember I've been obsessed with horses. Last year I was finally able to get involved with jousting and medieval games with them (only as a squire for now, so just taking care of the horses and helping with weapons and armor). This has moved me one step closer towards my dream of a largely self sustaining farm that specializes in jousting and medieval game lessons. (We'd also like to be able to bring our horses to ren fairs and other events for people to ride.  .that part of the business we were going to call All the King's Horses.) I've even found a place I'm HIGHLY interested in, as it's almost 2 acres and has a detached work shop which would be awesome not only for building our own equipment and fences and what not, but would also be incredibly helpful for my boyfriend's costume work. The problem is that I don't know that I qualify for purchase on my own. (Boyfriend, friend, and I can all afford mortgage and basic utilities together, but I don't know that friend realizes how serious I am about wanting to look at buying this place yet.)

I see a lot of other people managing to get monetary help for their dreams via GoFundMe, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I know I've got the goal set high, but that's more to cover my butt with expenses I'm sure I'm not factoring in yet. And I'd only need $30,000 down on the house and land. (From there we'd be looking into grants for green energy set up plus farm grants.) So, you know, I'm doing something I hate doing. I'm asking people for help. Signal boost, buy my stuff, donate even a dollar. . . .everything helps. You'll have the added bonus of being able to tell people you supported honey badger farms ;) Once we get the logo for that designed, we're also hoping to be able to sell it on some products here and there. (I mean, how many people get a heraldic honey badger? lol)
Mellivora Farms
I've got some pictures that I feel like I should upload. . .but I really haven't been feeling like sitting down and sorting through stuff lately. Haven't even gotten much costume work done for the past month or so, though that's largely because I've been stupid busy on weekends and working night shift during the week. For some reason I've also been on a "SELL ALL THE THINGS" binge lately with my stuff. Managed to sell off one lot of my Star Wars stuff I didn't want anymore plus a custom Sith mask I decided I didn't want to use after all. Had a yard sale with a friend last weekend and am continuing it this weekend (and probably random weekends until it's either all gone or picked over enough we feel like resorting to other means). Pulled some more Star Wars stuff to sell, but I keep wishing I had the rest of my stuff from TN out here because there's a lot there I'd like to get rid of, too. Got the Sage fly fishing reel I won from a drawing at work up on ebay; kind of hoping there's some hardcore fly fisher out there who wants it that bad since Sage is good stuff and I've got it for less than half of retail starting bid. (Hey, it didn't cost me anything so anything I get for it is money in the bank.)

Unfortunately since I'm on night shift at work now it means I've temporarily stopped bellydance lessons again. :( The lessons just aren't at times I can feasibly make it with work now (there are morning classes but I'm usually awake until 4 am so there's no way I'm making it to a 7 or 8 something class.) On the plus side, I FINALLY found a stable that offers riding lessons for a not stupid price out here (no, really, I'm not going to pay $85 an hour. . .that's laughable. . ). Looks like I'll be taking up western though since I'm not sure my knee can handle english anymore. Maybe I can mix it up enough that it won't be a problem. Also looking at bows again; got my eye on some Hungarian horse bows that will be sold at the ren fair next weekend, but if I don't like those (they are kinda pricey) I've got some long bow resources.

I feel a bit weird going to the ren fair without a straight up costume, but I'm going to try to at least go in quasi-ren fair esque clothing. I've never been to the Bonney Lake one before, so we'll see how it goes. (There are equestrian acrobatics. . .I'm pretty sure I'll be happy. lol) Also, I will ride a camel this time, dammit. It's been one of those stupid, pointless goals of mine for years now. And I shall make it happen. XD

On the costume front, I've got to figure out if I can logistically finish the barbarian before Halloween. It's not so much that there's a lot of work (there isn't; I'm basically converting old stuff into new stuff), but it's definitely just trying to sit down and work out the damn helmet. The mando beastmaster revamp needs new stomach wraps and the gaunts need to be finished, but I've been too lazy to even do that. Did manage to just score a helmet I've been wanting for a long time though, so hopefully going to be able to start that kit plus my brother's once both our helmets show up. Going to Rose City ComicCon in September, but I'm honestly not sure what costumes to bring yet. :/
And I've probably been playing with the features more than I should be. <_< >_> Look, I know some people have selective coloring with a passion; me, I think it can be kind of cool/pretty. So I apologize in advance for you guys probably getting flooded with selective color photos. lol New camera also has a "toy camera" setting and a color pop setting, so I've been messing with those some.

In other news, I also got a job earlier this week, so I'm hoping I'll actually be able to do more costume work than originally anticipated. And I'm planning on FINALLY purchasing some dance lessons from my favorite dance studio (I used to do some minor belly dance, I'm looking to get back into it and start up bollywood as well as maybe some hula). We may have been discussing doing some Star Wars and Doctor Who themed outfits/dances, too. :D

In summary, life is awesome, and I'm sorry if you're about to get spammed more regularly with silly photos. lol
The humidity in Orlando damaged my actual camera, and my boyfriend's camera has been slowly dying (also due to a water related incident sadly). His camera works, but the pictures often don't come out in the kind of quality they should be so, while it's ok for taking costume WIP shots, it's terrible for anything I actually want to upload. My mom is looking to see if she can afford a new one for me before Emerald City Comic Con in March, so I probably won't have any pictures to upload for a while yet. (I've got a couple pictures in a folder on my desktop that I haven't gotten around to uploading yet, but I'm just kinda "meh" about them so I'm in no rush.)
So, obviously I've been back for a while. Just been alternating between too busy to post and too lazy to post, so I haven't. If you think this is bad, you should see my poor blog. lol (Though I suppose I did at least manage two blog posts there recently.)

Anyway, life as goes on as usual. Still job hunting but not doing so bad selling prop stuff here and there. Got a new set of horns I need to finish up so I can mold 'em and start casting. Thinking the next costume I really sit down and work on may be a barbarian warrior, but we'll see how things go. Revamping my mandalorian beast master, but that's pretty easy since virtually all I need to do for it is fix up the helmet and make some new gauntlets and shoulder armor. (Using the Protector's chest plates for it since the original kit was painted green, too. Just may need to get another can of that green for the helmet.) Friends and I are still hoping to have our genderbent Avenger's at D*Con, but that's also in the "we'll see how things go" category since our Captain America isn't sure if she'll be able to make it to the con.

Other than playing a lot of Skyrim lately (borrowed it from a friend), back in October I also won a month free membership to Curves (entered into a bunch of raffles during the Oktoberfest). My mom (somehow) managed to scrape together enough for me to actually buy a membership so I can keep working out, so that's a big part of what I've been busy doing. So far I'm steadly burning between 360-390 calories a workout (3 times a week), though my goal is 400 and up. Had my monthly weigh and measuring, where I did find out that I've at least dropped a .5% in body fat and lost about an inch off both my hips and my thighs. So, yay? Mixed feelings I guess. Definitely glad to be getting in shape, but I'm so tired and depressed all the time it's hard to get too excited about it.

Hopefully my brother is coming up this weekend so we can finally go see the King Tut exhibit at PacSci. (I mean, that exhibit is the whole reason I renewed my membership for this year lol.) If we do then I'll be doing my usual "try to get some decent pictures" thing, so maybe there will be some more to upload. (Right now I've got just a couple more flower shots I need to get up, but sometimes I feel like those just get boring after a while, even if I like looking at colorful/pretty things.)
And it's going to be cutting it really close for finishing up my costumes. 0_0 Have I mentioned how much I hate having to wait on others to do parts that they're taking care of so I can move forward  with my stuff? lol

I'm afraid I've been really bad and not updated my main blog in quite a while. I'm aiming to do that during/after C6, plus I'm hoping to get a lot of costume photos while I'm there. I've got the two new mando kits I'm working on finishing, plus my surprise outfit which some people on Facebook already know because I have mentioned it there a couple of times.

There will probably be a flood of misc pictures during that time frame as well since Peregrinus and I are driving out. And I'm a bit of a "TAKE ALL THE PHOTOS!" type when I'm on vacation. lol

So. Yes. I'm very excited about this trip. Fingers crossed I get my new costumes done in time?
I have just discovered the Batman emoticon here.

I am sorely tempted to just add it to the end of all my comments from now on.

(I was going to try to find the Multiverse/Batman demotivator to link in case people hadn't seen it, but I can't find it with a quick google search. And it's on my old harddrive which hasn't been recovered yet. Bah. In short, I am Batman.)
Was on a break for a while since my laptop (yes, the "new" one I got in December) died on me and had to be sent off for repairs. (Apparently the harddrive had some bad sectors, so they just stuck a new one in and sent it back.) I only got it back last week, so I spent a while playing TOR so I would at least get some play time out of my last time card. And now I'm getting around to catching up on all the websites that I hadn't been on because I was borrowing Peregrinus' laptop and didn't want to log him out of everything.

Which means I've got over 500 messages to sort through here. My brain is in a corner crying.

I need to sort through all the pictures I've taken lately to see which ones I was going to upload here (though sadly a couple may end up being lesser quality 'cause I think I only uploaded them to Facebook then, in moment of not thinking, deleted them so they'll have to be retrieved from there). And I really need to get on finishing up my D20 Girls photos. >_> Urgh. I feel like such a flake that I've only gotten TWO pictures that I was happy with done for there. :/

I've also sorely neglected my costuming blog, so I need to make a note to actually get on posting some more stuff there.
I know it's silly to give a new calendar year any special properties (especially given that there are different new years depending on what calendar you follow), but I seriously hope this year is better than last. I'm pretty sure 2011 sucked for the majority of people I know.

One of the best things so far? I'm typing this on my new laptop. ^-^ Ok, so I technically got it back in December, but I haven't updated my journal in a while. The good thing I was talking about? One of my grandmothers (I feel odd saying "my grandmother" given I do have two who are both alive not just a singular grandmother) gave my parents some bonds she'd been buying for both my brother and I every year for our birthdays. Huge money relief for the end of the year, I set aside enough for C6 and to get this laptop, the rest is mostly going towards my school bills though (well, that and car insurance. . .though I switched over to Geico since 100 something per 6 months is a LOT better than the almost 600 a month that Nationwide was charging me despite me being really low risk. . .they even had it marked as a raise in cost this year 0_0). But things are also moving forward with the non-profit (albeit slowly).

Costume wise . . .well, you really have to follow my costuming blog for most of that lol. But I am starting my rework of Kora's purple kit (Yes, again :P), and I would have made more progress on my Early Crusader rendition of the beast master kit only I really cannot find my tin snips anywhere (and my scissors are not strong enough to cut the large horns down). There are some other things I'm working on here and there, too, as per usual. Of course my bigger goal is to drop about 40 pounds before C6, but I suppose we'll have to wait and see if I make that one. lol
But I can't really share what it is. lol I know, I'm a tease. But hopefully it's good enough news that it means I can finally get a new laptop to replace my busted gaming one (which means I can finally use Skype and a bunch of other stuff again since this version of Linux doesn't support pretty much anything I use). It's not "yay the non-profit is up and running!" level of good news, but it's good enough for now. It'd be nice to actually be able to get SOME Christmas presents for people.

I haven't really done much in the way of pictures lately. I've either been busy with preparing for the Portland Comic Book Show (which was awesome, btw), or I've been doing costume work, or, more likely as of late, I've been playing Skyrim. lol Obviously I couldn't afford to buy it (I have way too much that's much more important that requires money to be thrown at), but I did cave and get Blockbuster's monthly rental pass deal since they had a special where the first month was only $8.50. So it was kind of a "hm. . .$2 a night or $8.50 a month?" Which is a bit of a no brainer. Even at it's full price I still think it's actually a pretty decent deal since there are several games I'm going to want to rent here for much longer than I could afford at $2 a night (Halo Remastered edition, Skyward Sword, last couple Assassin's Creed games, Lego Harry Potter part 2, Dragon Age II. . .and so on).

I'm also at war with myself about posting ads for my custom wreaths. On one hand, it's a decent bit of extra income if anybody buys any. On the other hand, I don't know if I'm really feeling up to making any this year. Especially with a kitten who thinks everything that I move = toy. lol So, we'll see about that. Maybe I'll at least get the fabric to make one of the wine themed wreaths or finish the peacock wreath.
I do think I have a wonderfully amusing idea for my photo for the Rebelscum Costume Contest. Just need to make my prop and haul my armor out of storage. ^-^

Yes. That really is all I felt like making a journal post about. lol
I'll save you all the "grar stress!" related stuff (that's on my actual blog lol), but I had a pretty good time at D*Con. We also ended up staying out in TN longer than originally planned, and I've uploaded some of the pics from that time already.. I've still got several from Cheekwood (the botanical gardens) to upload, but I'm mostly caught up with all that I think.

Some new pics of my costume are around, but since they were taken by Mad Calamity Photos I'm not uploading them here. You can, however, find them on my facebook page under the Mandalorian Costumes album: www.facebook.com/pages/Kora/19… have a new shot of the Sith Scout up in the Dark Siders album (it's not exactly awesome but it works for now).

I did have some more things I was going to mention, but I made the mistake of trying some tea earlier, and I'm starting to feel the horribly queasy side effect from caffeine. >_< Blargh. (I don't get it; I'm fine with soda and even chocolate covered espresso beans. . . .but tea and coffee make me horribly sick :(.)

So, I'll try to get the Cheekwood photos up within the week; keep an eye out for 'em.
Well, tomorrow night. But I suppose that counts as soon in the grand scheme of things. lol As you can see in my gallery (newest pic as of this journal entry) I "finished" the FemProtector kit and got it official in time. Let me tell you, shipping the armor was a small nightmare though. I missed FedEx Office being open to ship it, twice (once I got there 15 minutes after they closed, second time 30 minutes before they opened) but finally got it shipped (yay for being able to use my mom's employee account lol). Then there was apparently a mix up at the address it was delivered to, which kind of had me freaking out that my armor had been lost. >_< So, yeah, that was pretty stressful.

But with me leaving for the convention tomorrow, I'm still trying to get a couple last minute upgrades finished in time. Adding some more darts to the kama so I don't have to worry about it sliding out from under my belt (something we noticed when I walked) and hoping to upgrade the snaps on the ankle straps to the buckles we intended to get on before we submitted. Also got the three other patches I ordered for my Sith Scout in, so need to stitch those down to the sash.

I went down to visit my brother a couple of weekends ago, and he got us into the air show they were having at Hillsboro. So I do have some pics from that that I think I'll post up, but I've just been in such a "omg get ready for convention!!!" headspace that those will probably get put up sometime after D*Con.

Anyway, I'll have internet at the hotel, and I'm hoping I'll be on at least for an hour or so each night but no way to be sure. Thursday I'm probably going to be pretty much walking dead since our flight gets in at 6 am(ish), but at least registration opens at 10 am. Might go to the Girls of the Con party that night, I'm still debating that. I'm also trying to decide if I want to be in plain clothes on Friday and Sith Scout on Sunday or if I want to reverse that. Saturday will definitely be the mando since I'll be in the parade, and I'll be working the Mercs booth from 4 - 6 that afternoon. After that I've probably got about an hour to kill before we head over to the Aquarium.

Argh. I hate the last minute rush to get costumes finished before conventions. Working under even more stress right now since I've only got another week or so to finish since I'm mailing my armor out to a friend in TN to drive down to the convention for me (I do not trust checking my luggage).

Protector: Blah. So much left to do to get this to the point that I want it at (like the whole damn flight suit), but for D*Con purposes I'm pretty close. Need to install and tint the visor (had to pick up a new clear face shield since I somehow managed to screw up the last one lol). Waiting on Peregrinus to finish up building the knees so I can paint them (I would be doing it, but he knows how he wanted to make the Fett knees with the templates so I'm letting him have fun with all the sanding and what not). Tonight we're working on getting my vest pattern done so he can sew it (also something I was going to be doing, but neither of us has an invisible zipper foot yet and since he knows how to sew an invisible zipper without one he also gets to have fun with that). I'd wanted to do the pattern for the kama as well, but that will probably be in another day or two since I suspect he's going to want to work on the 501st outfits tonight.

Sith Scout: Doing a "Sith Scout" for The Dark Empire. Going to finish sewing the sash tonight and stitching the troop ID patches on. Within the next couple days I'm aiming to get the 3/4 sleeves on the shirt converted to short sleeves and hem the skirt for it by a couple of inches so it's actually above my knees. After that, this costume will be finished.

501st outfit: Everything. 0_0 Seriously, I'm not even sure I'll have it for the con. Need to finish the patterns, cut the fabric, dye some of it, stitch it all together and finish the accessories. *headdesk*

Other than all that, not much going on here. Working with a friend of Peregrinus' dad to set up a non-profit since he's busy running his chili business. Hopefully going to get it all set up so we can be on a salary by the end of August. If not, I'm hoping we don't have to wait past September. Been doing odd jobs here and there for Peregrinus' mom (mostly weeding around the house but lately started doing some moving work and what not for her clients, as well). So at least there's a tiny bit of cash coming in. Right now I'm mostly just stressing like hell about money and waiting for D*Con to get here. Spending several days with my parents after that, then we're driving back across the country with the rest of my stuff (what little there is after I've sold so much of it *snort*).

Anyway, in the meantime, just enjoy my pictures of pretty flowers. lol Not sure how much I'll have after the con since I tend to be in costume more (and honestly am not very good at taking pictures of people), but I may be updating sporadically during.
In the box of Easter stuff my mom sent me, she also included a garden gnome for me to use as a traveling gnome to take pictures of at different places I go. It's something that amused me since I heard the story of the traveling gnome, and it's something I'd seriously considered doing since my Urban Folklore class (it was one of the two things the class would switch between doing. . .my year we got to flamingo somebody's yard since the year before us had the gnome to take pictures with).

So I've created a section just for pictures of Fizzcrank the 3rd (as I've decided to call him). Those are probably even more "just for fun" (if that's even possible) than my normal pictures. But it did at least give me a reason to go out today. lol
Just because I can. lol (Really, it's more because while a lot of the Mercs have fan pages for their characters, I've got so many different characters and costumes I have/want to have that I figured having a public figure page would be better for me.)

www.facebook.com/pages/Kora/19…
Got about half of my stuff that was still down in OR up here into storage. Had to repaint the shoulder's on my purple kit because I left the purple paint down there, and apparently while they were stored the cape fabric left an imprint on the paint. (So, note to self, always put that fabric underneath the hard goods.) Shoulders and chest diamond are now the same metallic red as the visor trim. Once I get another standard helmet and repaint everything back to the proper purple with an airbrush though, those shoulders and diamonds are going back to the swirly goodness. Still need a proper vest, but that's on the list of stuff that will have to wait until I have a job or income of some sort.

Since I have small hands, I managed to wrangle up some funds to get one of those tiny little Hasbro "Cade Bane" blasters (I put it in quotes because, let's face it, those look nothing like his pistols). Luck was with me when I discovered I still had a barrel extension in my greebly box from a cheapo Goodwill pistol purchase I took apart. Currently it just needs to be painted up, then I'll finally have a gun I'm mostly happy with until I can get my sniper rifle finished.

The Early Crusader Beast Master helmet has the sintra glued into place. Needs trimming then it gets to sit around until I have the money to get the several tubes of epoxy putty it's going to take to do all the smoothing and horns. Still debating methods of making the larger horns.

Steampunk Mando helmet is sitting forlornly reminding me that I need to sand the seam. Also need to pick up something to help keep the range finder in place (for some reason this one is loose and doesn't likes staying in the upright position). Need to glue the "gears" onto the back plate of sintra for the key slots position, but that's less urgent as that won't get installed until the very end. I DO need to get some sort of metal mesh to put there though as that will be installed before I paint since I'd like to use some epoxy putty to blend it into the back of the helmet seamlessly as I can. Some more epoxy putty gets to be used to fill in the gap that's at the bottom of the left earcap. For some reason it wouldn't stay lined up properly, so I'm going to fill that in (I've had all sorts of problems with this one; it's like it's determined to make all 2 piece helmets look bad).

I've also added the link to my costuming blog. I know I'm not at a level to be remotely popular right now, but it's sort of a just in case type thing as well as giving me a way to actually ramble about my stuff other than short little Facebook announcements.
Thanks to the joy of reward point programs on credit cards, my mom got me a new camera for Christmas. It's another Cybershot since I liked my last one so much, but this beauty has 14.1 megapixels (vs the last 7.2). It has a lot of features I like, and I was far too amused by the fact that it has a touch screen back. This is slightly problematic, I admit, as I have to turn it off to wipe the screen and occasionally hit the wrong button while I'm holding it, but those are relatively minor problems in the grand scheme of things.

I may have also gone kind of crazy with the panorama mode while Jonah, Michael, and I were at Fort Stevens State Park yesterday. <_< >_> But it makes such awesome photos. . .

On the costume front, I have accomplished absolutely nothing. This is a mix of lack of job (ie- lack of money since I don't even get unemployment and only have what my parents can spare to use) and the fact that I have no space to do any costume work in at the moment. I am much disgruntled about that. I've been trying to sell some old costume stuff to at least give me a bit of spending money, but I'm not having much luck finding anywhere other than craigslist to try. I've started hating using there, too, as the last couple of people who've contacted me to buy something, arranged meetings, then never showed up. And I can't keep wasting gas for no-shows so I've had to develop the policy of you pay for shipping, and it gets shipped regardless of where you are in relation to me. It sucks, but all it takes are a couple of inconsiderate asshats to ruin it for everybody.

Anyway, not much to really say here. Not sure when I'll have more pictures to upload as I have no idea if I'm going to go to Emerald City Comic Con or not. And I can't predict how nice the weather in Seattle will be next time I go over, but I'll probably be too busy running errands then to really take any photos.
Wow. Seriously, why have I not updated since Feb.? *headdesk* Obviously, been out here on the west coast since then. Still struggling and job hunting and stressed beyond all belief. As a result, not much is getting done costume wise (both because I have little money to spare and because I can't really focus on anything). I have taken some new pictures I keep meaning to upload, but that's pretty par for the course for me I think. Sometimes it just seems too long to sit here and upload each picture one by one by one. But onto what costume updates there are.

Kora V1.2 (purple kit) is essentially finished. I still want a new vest for it, but my god the amount of work I ended up having to do to get it wearable again after the move has put me off touching it for a while. One of the chest plates snapped while being shipped, so I essentially had to remake the entire kit. >_< Pics are already up in my gallery.

Haven't done much work on Tiika's new helmet, though I have the base for it (a ski helmet I found at Goodwill) and some basic cardboard templates taped to it. I need to go out sometime before Halloween and try to find some new horns somewhere for it because I'm honestly not sure how well the materials a lot of the "make them yourself!" tutorials I've found would hold up to being on something like a helmet which has a tendency to smack things occasionally. Got some beads and some found feathers to at the very least remake her dangly feather "trophies".

Steampunk mando is slowly progressing. Right now Peregrinus is working on the chest plate for me. It's the chest portion of a mannequin, but he'll be the one messing with cutting it out right and cutting out the center "diamond" (which for this kit is actually a cog). He was also amazing enough to buy me another 2 piece Jango, so I've begun work on the helmet. With the weather getting cold though, I doubt I'll be able to get much done again until summer since I don't have anywhere warm to paint out here.

Custom sith slave has the skirt plates done. Need to get some wet look vinyl for the new skirt and top.

Slave leia is no longer intact. The bra top just was not fitting me right, so I sold it. *sigh* My original intention was to use the money from it to buy another top from another seller, but I never heard back from that seller. My own sculpting skills are terrible so I've pretty much just given up on having that costume for now.
